Thanks for visiting my website. I’m currently a lecturer in the department of philosophy and humanities at East Tennessee State University. I teach courses on a variety of topics, including ethics, metaphysics, philosophy of religion, and the history of philosophy. I also write on various issues in ethics and metaphysics, but I find myself irresistibly drawn to working on questions about free will and moral responsibility in particular. The irony of this is not lost on me. When I’m not teaching or writing, which is pretty rare nowadays, I enjoy watching movies and traveling with my wife, listening to music, reading history and fiction, and practicing “the gentle art” of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. You can find out more about me, my teaching, and my research by clicking on the links above.
